“Among my artworks, there is a kanji work imitating a flower. It is a frozen flower and a new concept created in kanji as hieroglyphs. Because, these character are used for female names in Japan. Women are flowers, because they are beautiful, gentle and strong. I draw the letters. So, these are the women I draw.
The kanji that imaged two types of flowers came together and became one work. Confined in ice, like a flower, like a stamped flowers.” - YUJ DOY
